Learning a few kid friendly ways to cook eggs can be a good option for their breakfast. An egg a day is equal to a multivitamin meal. Omelet

  • Eggs – 2
  • Veggies – onions, tomato, spinach, mushrooms, olives
  • Cheese 

Method

Break 2 eggs in a bowl. Mix them until they form a uniform texture. Now spread it over the pre-heat pan. Add onion, tomato, mushrooms, spinach, etc. Cook properly from both sides. After it is cooked, sprinkle the cheese over it and let it melt. 

Omelet Rolls

  • Coriander

  • Tomato-onion puree 

Method

Take eggs in a bowl and add salt to it. Now beat the eggs in the bowl until it becomes a uniform mixture. Prepare a tomato and onion puree. Now put some oil in the pan and spread the egg mixture. Also, add the puree to it. Cook it for 2 minutes and roll the omelets. To enhance the serving, you can cut the omelet into rolls and garnish it with oregano or coriander. 

Egg-Mushroom Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • Eggs 
  • Mushroom in juice – 1 can (14.5-ounce), drained 
  • Extra-virgin olive oil – 1/4 cup
  • Red pepper flakes 
  • Clove garlic – 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Oregano – ½ tsp, dried

Method

Boil the eggs and let them cool. Remove the shells and cut the boiled eggs elongated. In a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Now add the red pepper flakes, garlic, and oregano. Stir the mixture until it is fragrant. Now add the mushroom and increase the heat. Add salt and pepper to the taste. Cook the mixture for about 2 to 3 minutes and add in the basil. 

Lower the heat and add 2 egg whites. Keep the yolk for later use. Cook the whites for up to 1 minute and remove the skillet. Mark out the 4 indentations in sauce and place egg yolk into each of them. From the edges of the pan, apply the sauce around the yolks. Now cover the skillet and keep it aside for 3 minutes. Before serving, pull out the yolks using the spoon into the toast. 

Scrambled Eggs

  • Eggs – 2 to 3
  • Olive oil 
  • Water 
  • Milk 
  • Cheese 
  • Pepper 
  • Salt 
  • Veggies – spinach, tomatoes, bell pepper, broccoli 

Method

Mix the eggs in the bowl and add a tablespoon of olive oil, milk, and water. It will avoid making it rubbery stuff. Now add salt and pepper. Heat the mixture in a pan. Sprinkle the cheese over the cooked scrambled eggs. Serve it with a topping of tomatoes, onions, spinach, broccoli, peppers, etc.

Method

Prepare scrambled eggs as mentioned above with all the required veggies. Heat the tortilla in a pan. Heat it until the color of the tortilla turns golden brown. When fully cooked, stuff the tortilla with scrambled eggs. Serve it with salsa sauce

  • Eggs – 5 
  • Banana leaves 
  • Coconut cream – 1 cream, thick
  • Brown sugar – 1/2 cup 
  • Kaffir or Makrut Lime Leaves – 2, sliced 
  • Salt 

Method

Make banana leaf boats using the toothpicks at the ends. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Mix the sugar, cream, and lime leaves and mix it until sugar is dissolved overheat. Remove the mix from heat and let it cool. Now beat the eggs with a pinch of salt. Add the beaten eggs into the mixture. Pour and strain the mixture into the banana leaves. 

For 20 minutes, steam the leaves with the mixture. It will remove the grassy aroma from the leaves. If you are not using an oven, you can grill them. Now pour the mixture into the banana leaves and serve it. Banana leaves add flavor to the recipe. 

Hard-Boiled Eggs

Method

Soak 3 to 4 eggs or as per requirement in cold water. Add salt to the water and heat it on medium flame. Let the water boil. The boiling time can depend on how hard-boiled you want the eggs to be. Now place the boiled eggs in cold water and let them cool down for a while. It will make it easier for you to separate the boiled egg from its shell. 

The interesting thing about the boiled egg is that it can be stored and consumed for the next 5 days.

Method

Firstly, you have to scramble the eggs and warm the sandwich maker. Now apply butter to the two pieces of bread. Add veggies, grated cheese, and scrambled eggs to the bread. Let the bread heat in the sandwich maker for 5 minutes and your sandwiches are ready to serve.

Method

Prepare a pizza dough the same as you prepare it for pizza. Spread it over the baking pan and apply pizza sauce. You can add the toppings of your choice. Spread the cheese over the dough and let it bake for 10 to 12 minutes. With the help of a spoon, make an indention in pizza. Make sure that it is not close to the base. 

Now crack the eggs in each depression. Bake it again for 5 to 7 minutes and the egg pizza is ready to serve.

Method
